FCRA Disclosure Notice

In connection with your application for financing, Pierce RV and/or its lending partners may obtain consumer reports and/or investigative consumer reports about you from one or more consumer reporting agencies. Consumer reports may include information about your character, general reputation, personal characteristics, and mode of living.

These reports may be obtained at any time during the application process and, if you become a customer, throughout the duration of our relationship for purposes including but not limited to account review, collection activities, and other legitimate business purposes.

Your Rights Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act

Right to Know About Your Credit Reports

  • • You have the right to know if information in your file has been used against you
  • • You have the right to know what is in your file
  • • You have the right to ask for a credit score
  • • You have the right to dispute incomplete or inaccurate information

Free Credit Reports

You are entitled to a free copy of your credit report from each of the three major credit bureaus once every 12 months. You may order your free annual credit reports by:

If We Take Adverse Action

If we deny your application or offer you less favorable terms based on information in your credit report, we will provide you with:

  • • The name, address, and phone number of the credit bureau that provided the report
  • • A statement that the credit bureau did not make the decision and cannot explain why it was made
  • • Your right to get a free copy of your credit report from that bureau within 60 days
  • • Your right to dispute incomplete or inaccurate information with the credit bureau

Identity Theft Protection

  • • You have the right to place fraud alerts on your credit file
  • • You have the right to obtain free credit reports if you are a victim of identity theft
  • • You have the right to seek damages from violators in federal or state court
